GRC Database Information

This update to the book Global Source Book for Address Data Management has been released (8th November 2001) as an Adobe Acrobat file.  The following chapters and data have been updated:

World address formats: new formats added (114, 115), Lesotho and Bulgaria format altered.
World postal code formats: format for Iraq and Peru added; additional format for Isle of Man added; new column with notes giving allowed/disallowed characters added.
World postbox indicators: additions/corrections made for Bolivia, Colombia
Country names: additional French language country names added.

Albania: Greek place name lists added; Vlach place names list added.
Algeria: Berber settlement name equivalents added.
Azerbaijan: additional language information added.
Bolivia: settlements section added (Aymará and Quechua place names), alternative postbox names given.
Bulgaria: settlement list is Turkish added; new address format information provided.
Burundi: political situation update.
Colombia: alternative postbox names given.
East Timor: updated currency information added; correct country name alternatives given; languages section added.
