Cell - A cell is a single point in a cube. Cubes have cells for all of the possible combinations of points from all of the cube's dimensions.

Cell - An arrangement of people, machines, materials and equipment in which the processing steps are placed next to each other in sequential order and through which parts are processed in a continuous flow. The most common cell layout is a U shape.

cell -
(1) [graphics (computing)] The smallest unit of information in raster data, usually square in shape. In a map or GIS dataset, each cell represents a portion of the earth, such as a square meter or square mile, and usually has an attribute value associated with it, such as soil type or vegetation class.
(2) [graphics (computing)] A pixel.
(3) [non-ESRI software] A small drawing, usually of a frequently used or complex symbol, notation, or detail. Cells are similar to blocks in AutoCAD drawings.
