Change Management - 1. The complete set of processes employed on a project to ensure that changes are implemented in a visible, controlled and orderly fashion.
2. The activity, or set of activities, undertaken to govern systematically the effects of organizational change.

Change Management - The Service Management process responsible for controlling and managing requests to effect changes (RFCs) to the business infrastructure or any aspect of business services to promote business benefit while minimizing the risk of disruption to services.
Change Management also controls and manages the implementation of the changes subsequently approved.
