Collect on Delivery (COD) - A service for mailers who need to mail an article for which they have not received payment. The amount due the sender is collected from the addressee, and the USPS returns the amount due to the sender.

Collect On Delivery (COD) - A service option whereby Canada Post:
* transmits an item of mail, via the selected service, to an addressee * collects an amount of money in the form of cash or cheque for that item from the addressee * delivers the item to the addressee; and * sends the amount of money collected to the sender.
This service option is available for items mailed in Canada for delivery in Canada via PriorityTM, XpresspostTM, Expedited ParcelTM and Regular ParcelTM.
