Consumers' Choice Program - A program introduced by Canada Post on July 2, 1997, to respect consumers' wishes not to receive unaddressed material. There are five exemptions under the program:
* House of Commons mailings * Elections Canada mailings * Provincial Chief Electoral Officers' mailings * Municipal electoral mailings * Community newspapers.
