Level of Buffering - A method of normalizing buffer capacity by applying the following formula:
LB = N / (c*Tdown)
Where LB: Level of buffering
c: Maximum cycle time of all machines in the line
Tdown: Maximum average of all machines in the line
Most often used in simulations and Lean Manufacturing Plants.
